After much pleading and many a fan letter, Paul Teutal and his associate Michael (of famed television program, Orange County Choppers) finally came to Dallas to build my dream chopper–bubblegum pink, old school dual shock, Baker five speed transmission, and Rolling Thunder Springer front end with a S&S 96″ Raw engine.

Well, not excactly. The team is reported to be in the DFW area to film a commercial (possible boot commercial?) as well as begin preliminary work on a custom chopper for a fortunate Dallas resident.  In addition to commercials, television and custom chopper creation, Paul Sr. will also debut his first book The Ride of a Lifetime early next year.  After several days of Stoneleigh Hotel hospitality, Stoneleigh P burgers and general good natured fun, the team departed yesterday afternoon to return to Orange County New York.

After an awesome show at the Nokia Theatre, Panic at The Disco checks out of The Stoneleigh today. Panic is preparing to take over Austin tonight as they near completion of their 2008 tour (last stop Houston). During the tour, Panic was also joined by Dashboard Confessional and the Plain White T’s.  You can catch their second to last performance tonight at 7pm in Austin at the venerable Frank Erwin Center.
